Ancient baths in Turkey Phaselis (the "Small-Bath") |

The Theater-Therme in Phaselis, also called " Small bath ", is located on the east side of the central market place, below the theater. The design of the hypocaust system allows us to date its date of origin to the 1st century AD. It is assumed that it was a private bath, i.e. it was not available to the general public. The large public bath with a direct connection to the aqueduct was located about 50 metres away on the west side of the main road. Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator |
