The large thermal baths from the time of the Roman Empire had 2 floors. The hillside location allowed access to the upper floor from the street above. In the 2nd century AD it was extended by a gymnasion. The large windows facing down to the valley allowed a breathtaking view of the valley and the Taurus Mountains.
The thermal baths were partly fed by channels cut into the rock from the source of the Aykırıçay.
