The Bouleuterion, called Gerontikon by Strabon, was built in the 1st century AD and rebuilt in the 2nd century AD. The building, surrounded by a rectangular wall, is leaned against an artificially heaped earth wall. In the enclosure walls already used wall parts were built in the rebuilding in the 2nd century AD.
The cavea with 12 rows of white limestone seats is divided into 4 kerkides by five stairs. The representative wall ending to the south was provided with three entrance doors. The Bouleuterion offered place for 600-700 persons.
